What is the YourSocial Meetup like?

Imagine sitting around a breakfast table with a bunch of passionate social media creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals – all sharing their success stories, social media tips, and content strategies .

The time when Jayasri and I first connected as expats in Amsterdam, we realised that both of us are passionate content creators and were really interested in learning more about social media trends and strategies from one another’s experiences. Our first few coffee meetings were just about auditing our business FB and Instagram profiles and understanding how we could improve our content creation and marketing strategies. While I am a freelance content marketer, Jayasri is a photo-entrepreneur and runs her own photography business in Amsterdam. Despite having different work backgrounds, we both share a common passion for creating digital content and social media marketing.

Subscribing to marketing blogs and reading business books has so far been our guide to mastering our social media strategies and learning about the latest trends. But, as professionals, we wanted to have access to a space or an offline network where we could meet other creators and entrepreneurs who use social media marketing actively for their businesses. We were looking for an event that allows us to learn and exchange knowledge from other business owners in person and also build a meaningful network at the same time.

Being in a room full of passionate people from your industry gives you real-world insights and exposure that no social network can provide, no matter how many followers or engagement you have on your channels. This is exactly what we built with the YourSocially Collective: an experience for creatives, entrepreneurs and social media professionals to connect in real life and share learnings about their content creation and social media journey.

WHAT IS THE YOURSOCIALLY MEETUP

The Your Socially Collective is a breakfast series, a free and invite-only social media and content marketing meetup that focuses on a unique industry each time. Every meetup is joined by a group of professionals from a particular industry to have conversations about their marketing successes and challenges in their particular industry.

With this meet-up series, we want to provide an experience for creators, professionals, and marketers to meet in person and share their best marketing practices, help one another and also build meaningful connections and networks at the same time.

We are immensely proud to be serving a community like this in Amsterdam because this is a place full of opportunities and has an incredible mix of entrepreneurs and creators from different parts of the world.

We are looking forward to hosting more such meetups in the future after getting an overwhelming response from the participants of our first meetup.
