A fascinating Soul-Searching Concept

We all are striving to build our personal brands but the truth is we know very little about our true selves. I want to share with you this fascinating soul searching concept that will make you think more deeply about your existence.

This is the 3-selves paradigm I picture above) and it consists of:

1. OUR REAL SELF
2. OUR PERCEIVED SELF
3. OUR IDEAL SELF

1. Our real self is the version of ourselves at the present. Who we really are at the present. Only we and our soul inside knows this person.

2. Our perceived self is what others have crafted in their minds about us based on our behavior, values, and sometimes what content we are putting out there.

This is also the version we have absolutely no control over.

3. Our ideal self is who we aspire to be. It's the version we want to eventually become and we strive for. This is the version that keeps us motivated to improve, to progress, and that inspires growth and effects change.

The closer the 3 points of your 3-selves triangle are, the closer you are to achieving a sense of control and calm over your life. When these 3 points converge they overlap to become a dot. That's when you become that truly one with yourself. No pretense, no fake image to uphold, no hiding behind your perceived personal brand.... just one dot. And that my friend, maybe the whole "point" of life. Quite literally!

Are your 3 selves, 3 corners of this triangle converging or diverging?
